Challenge: Eflyn was presented with the challenge of creating a compact and sleek grab-and-go convenience store that was also user-friendly.
Solution: In order to tackle this challenge, we redesigned our Self-Ordering Kiosk, originally made for restaurants, into a Retail Self-Serve system. Along with redesigning the Kiosks, entirely new software was created to feature a catalog of items in stock at each Penguin Store, along with animated instructions on how to Self-Checkout, multimedia branding content, and an easy backend for employees to update inventory changes, track analytics, and change prices instantly- and remotely.
Results: The Penguin Pick-Up stores are gaining strong popularity and recognition in places like Toronto and Montreal because of their easy Grab-And-Go system. These stores have changed the way people perceive convenience stores by being sleek, modern, and embracing kiosk technology.

The Beer Store
Custom Self-Ordering Kiosk Solution for The Beer Store Retailers Across Ontario
Challenge: Creating a fast, safe, and reliable check-out system for Beer Stores across Ontario.
Solution: Eflyn partnered with The Beer Store to update their existing in-store technology and bring new Self-Serve Kiosks systems to stores across Ontario. 32” Self-Order Kiosks were installed in a two-wave project to all Beer Stores. Kiosks hardware was redesigned to include wire connections from the kiosk backing as well as from the kiosk base. This was done in order to ensure safe wired installation for floor mounts in addition to wall-mounted units. Kiosks feature Beer Store vinyl branding.
Results: The Beer Store workers and visitors love the 32” Self-Order Kiosk model as a Self-Serve solution. With this technology, Beer Store’s now have the perfect contactless check-out solution that is ready to take orders whenever they are. The Kiosks blend well into the sleek store set up and is a safe way to browse all catalog options instantly.

Ryerson University

Eflyn Services & Products : 55” customized Interactive Digital Display Kiosks, Customized Staff and Offices Directory with animated turn by turn wayfinding system, Eflyn fully customized events and internal ads and news management application
Challenge: Ryerson University in Toronto was looking for a digital signage solution with software they could use to remotely manage and display upcoming events and room locations.
Solution: Eflyn built a custom wayfinding application with turn-by-turn animated directions. The app also included a dynamic ads and news management system along with integration into the Ryerson events calendar. On each floor at the Ted Rogers School of Management you’ll see a 55” multi-touch, custom designed, all aluminium body digital display kiosk.
Results: Updating rooms, names, events, posters and more has now been made easy with the Eflyn Content Management System. All changes can be done remotely and in real time using our software.

Lowes
Interactive Product Application
Challenge: Solar Brokers Canada, in partnership with Lowe’s, wanted a new and digital way to promote and inform visitors about the various Solar Roofing Systems available in their stores.
Solution: Eflyn worked with the client to create an interactive free-standing kiosk solution utilizing a custom application to inform visitors about the features in the available Solar Roofing Systems. Included in the app is a custom built “qualify me now” feature for easier lead collection and management. Eflyn also helped design a custom vinyl branding for the kiosks in order to attract customers to the units.
Results: After piloting this project in 4 Lowe’s retail locations, the client was highly impressed with the success of this project in generating leads and informing clients of these systems. Eflyn subsequently worked with Lowe's to roll out these kiosks to every Lowe's retail location across Ontario and in the process Lowe's was able to generate thousands of customer leads.

Ontario Power Generation
Utilizing Eflyn Technology as Employee Communication Networks
Challenge: To build a network of interactive free-standing kiosks, digital wall-mounts and a video wall within the Ontario Power Generation Nuclear Plant that could be managed from one central location. The goal of OPG was to be able to instantly display important announcements, posters, videos, upcoming events, safety information and more on Eflyn displays.
Solution: Eflyn deployed several 47” free-standing kiosks, digital wall-mount displays and a large 2 x 2 video wall with 55” commercial video wall panels to OPG locations with the Eflyn Saigon Content Manager loaded onto each display.
Results: With Eflyn Saigon Content Manager we were able to centralize the content streaming across all displays, allowing OPG to manage all content from one central location. Employee's at OPG were also trained on how to use this technology in order to create interactive and eye-catching announcement posters, video and other media content. Following this initial launch, OPG requested more models for their employee meeting rooms to display slideshows, training sessions and other employee training content. All kiosks were wrapped with custom Eflyn designed OPG branding to make them more inviting and to allow them to fit seamlessly with their surroundings.

Activation: Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival CBC 250 Front Street West
Challenge: The challenge was to build a custom kiosk app to help promote many of the documentary films being shown at the Hot Docs Festival in Toronto.
Solution: Eflyn built a custom contest kiosk application which would require users watch a quick documentary trailer in order to enter the contest. Also built into the app was a CBC Hot Docs branded photo booth with Facebook Integration
Results: The result was hundreds of contest entries and data collection along with thousands of video views during the festival

ACUVUE BRAND
CONTACT LENSES JOHNSON & JOHNSON Vision Care
Challenge: Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Canada approached Eflyn to find a way to incorporate a more interactive and digital experience to their trade-shows and events. They were looking for something slim, eye catching and compact to fit their limited trade-show space.
Solution: Eflyn supplied Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Canada with an interactive 47” Free-Standing Kiosk. This was the recommendation made by Eflyn because of it's very compact 2’ x 2’ footprint. The kiosk came equipped with a custom Johnson & Johnson photo booth application branded with the J&J Acuvue Contact Lens branding.
Results: Johnson & Johnson was highly satisfied with the lead generation that took place with this kiosk. They subsequently went on to purchase and rent other models for their future trade-shows, the 47" Free-Standing Kiosk has quickly become a trade-show staple.

THE PRAYER PALACE CHURCH
The Prayer Palace is a multicultural, non denominational church
Challenge: The Prayer Palace approached Eflyn searching for a sleek-digital signage solution to place in their Church. Upon meeting with us, The Prayer Place decided that they required a digital display wall-mount to place in every wing of their building. The Prayer Palace also required remote access to the screens to update content it real-time.
Solution: Eflyn produced and supplied several 55” commercial grade digital display wall-mounts with full metal enclosures meant for every day use. Eflyn installed many of the displays on walls and some were hung from the ceiling in strategic locations around the Church to maximize their usage.
Results: The Prayer Palace is now able to create, modify and upload new content digitally and remotely. Staff was trained on how to use the Saigon system to create content in order to become self-sufficient.

Eyestar Optical
Retail Space Marketing Solution
Challenge: Eyestar Optical approached Eflyn with two requirements. The first was for an easier and more affordable way to advertise new marketing material in real-time i.e. new eyewear products, promotions and posters. The second requirement was to increase retail foot traffic and to obtain leads from these potential customers. Eyestar needed a way to achieve this goals using the limited amount of store frontage and shopping mall guidelines they were obligated to operate under.
Solution: The first Eflyn interactive 47” Free-Standing Kiosk was deployed to the Eyestar Optical Square One location as a pilot. At first, the kiosk was mainly used as a digital canvas for the Eyestar marketing manager, who is based in British Columbia to be able to run digital ads remotely. The ease and speed with which they were able to create and run new content made it an easy decision for Eyestar to expand the program. Subsequently, Eyestar began to make use of Eflyn’s suite of lead generating applications including the very popular digital Spin-to-Win and Photo booth applications.
Results: Currently there is an interactive Free-standing Kiosk at every Eyestar location across Canada. Each digital display is managed from one central location. Eyestar uses the technology to display promotion, video content, photo lookbooks and to also capture customer leads through Spin-To-Win and the Photobooth applications. To date, Eyestar has collected thousands of new leads using the Eflyn applications and even more foot traffic in-store.

Tandoori Flame Grand Indian Buffet
Interactive Restaurant Display and Application
Challenge: The owner of Tandoori Flame approached us seeking a way to increase his social media impact and find a way to advertise new restaurant promotions and upcoming holiday specials.
Solution: Eflyn built the very first digital photo booth with real time social media integration and ads module for Tandoori Flame. This custom application allowed the client to give guests something to see and do while waiting in line for their seat, while also collecting customer data and advertising restaurant promotions. The custom application also allowed part of the digital screen to display new content like new products, promotion of their e-club, and mouthwatering food preperation videos. It also allowed visitors the opportunity to participate in a digital photo booth contest through Facebook where they could upload their photos to the Tandoori Flame Facebook and the photo with the most likes recieved a prize at the end of the month.
Results: In the first year of piloting this project, Tandoori Flame added more than 20,000 new emails to their database along with thousands of Facebook photos and likes. Upon seeing this immense success, Tandoori Flame made the interactive kiosk a permamnent part of their restaurant space.

Challenge: Vangarde was looking for a new and eye catching way to showcase products at their Improve Canada showroom along with their National Home Show trade show booth.
Solution: Eflyn supplied Vangarde with several 55” touch and non-touch kiosks with a built in application to help create and promote new products, posters, videos and more. The client was provided with a web-based content management back-end solution for real time updates.
For the National Home Show, Eflyn took it one step further by supplying the client with a stunning 3 x 3 free-standing video wall, built with 47” panels. The 4K video wall included built in speakers to help ensure no one would miss it.
Results: Vangarde won the 2017 National Home Show award for best booth. The owner of Vangarde currently only uses the Eflyn Saigon to update and manage all kiosk content because of its ease of use and efficiency.

Challenge: The challenge was to create a digital and interactive way to display soccer timings, events and Monarch Park news at the front entrance of the stadium.
Solution: Eflyn supplied two 55” free-standing kiosks along with unlimited access to the Eflyn content manager. With our built in app the client would be able to display news, events, timings, videos and more at anytime and from any location.
Results: The client is now able to save time and money on printed material using the Eflyn Saigon application. After using the Eflyn kiosks, Monarch Park ultimately decided to purchase more interactive displays for their other downtown Toronto stadium.

Challenge: Minto was looking for a digital display and a catalog rack they could place at various presentation centers. They did not have much room for both though.
Solution: Eflyn built a 21.5 inch multi touch kiosk with a built in catalog rack for print material. This all in-one 21.5”Multi-touch Digital Display Kiosk with Touch Display comes with Windows 10, Intel i3 Processor, 128 GB SSD and built with catalogue / brochure holder.
Results: Minto have gone on to order several more 21.5” multi touch kiosks and place them in several office towers and sales centers.

Challenge: The client (GIC) wanted to provide more information along with a bit of fun and style to their tradeshow floor.
Solution: Eflyn designed and built a tradeshow wayfinder to run on multiple 47” interactive digital kiosks on the show floor. In addition to the wayfinding function, the app also integrated trade show events, speakers, sponsors and aps.
Also on the show floor Eflyn setup custom GIC photo kiosks for a little extra fun and social engagement and a large freestanding video wall.
Results: GIC has seen a jump in leads through the use of our digital kiosk photobooth and mobile app. Eflyn has become the official GIC Tech Sponsors.

Flato Markham Theatre
The theatre is owned and operated by the City of Markham. The name of the venue changed from Markham Theatre to Flato Markham Theatre when FLATO Developments acquired naming rights in April 2012

Challenge: The Flato Markham Theatre wanted a large digital display installed in their main foyer however they had the following requirements.
The display should be easily accessible from the back for easy maintenance
They required remote access to the display for easy content management
It should be able to run from morning to night and last for years
It should not be overly expensive
Solution: Eflyn installed a 2 x 2 video wall, which was constructed out of 55” video wall panels. Rather than installing one large expensive display Eflyn installed 4 x 55” commercial video wall panels with a very thin 1.7mm bezel. The benefits of going with video wall vs one large display were as followed
Easier and cheaper to maintain

In addition to the video wall panels installed at the Markham Theater was the video wall PC hidden in the back. With this PC the client could connect to the video wall via wifi anytime.

Challenge: Toys R Us approached Eflyn seeking a mechanism of capturing more emails from subscribers and increased social media engagement in the promotion and release of their new Star Wars product line.
Solution:
1) Eflyn built a custom Toys R Us Digital Photo Wall and the idea was to encourage customers to take photos with their favorite toys. It's a digital photobooth app we've designed that lets people take photos with the kiosk, automatically adds a branded photo frame, and instantly uploads them to Facebook, Twitter, and even send e-mails.
As part of the photo-taking process, users would be asked if they’d like to opt into the Toys R Us Mailing list. All email leads are collected in accordance with CASL Canadian Anti-Spam Laws.
2) For the weeks leading up to Christmas we created a custom video booth app, which would ask kids holiday-related questions and record a video of their answers.
3) At the baby time show Eflyn SpinToWIn Babies” R” Us was looking for leads, and lots of them, so they ran the Elfyn Spin to Win app, which included corporate branding, CASL compliance, questions to users, and data capture.
Results: On average each Toys R Us location generated approx. 1000 new leads per month per store using the fully customized Eflyn Social Booth app on Eflyn Free Standing Kiosks. They used the videos collected from our digital kiosks to create a holiday-themed video montage as part of their marketing efforts. There was an opt-in rate of 90% among customers who used the kiosk to subscribe to Toys R Us email promotions.

Solution: Eflyn built an all-in-one app which includes a Paramount Fine Foods branded photo booth with Facebook integration, a digital Spin to Win kiosk game for lead gen and an ads module to promote new products and menu items.
Results: On average each Paramount Fine Foods location generates 1100 leads per month along with hundreds of facebook photos and likes. Paramount also take a kiosk to most trade shows and has generated thousands of new leads from the Eflyn kiosk
